Three Glances (1983) for guitar solo

These three short movements were designed for a player used to improvisation. Though fully notated, their approach to guitar sound is much more geared to exploring sonority than the singing line of Coste di Montepulciano.

The movements' main tempo indications are: "With Quiet Dignity"; "Slow and Contemplative"; and "Fast and Rhythmic".
