Ring Out Wild Bells! (2000)

for choir (S.S.A.), organ and tubular bells

Commissioned by La Sainte Union School to celebrate the Millennium

The Tennyson text from "In Memoriam"is set imitatively. It is used to frame a more chordal setting of parts of the "millennium prayer" used by schools in 2000. The organ part is virtuosic in places but also supports the voices throughout.
