This short (ten minutes) piece is based on the “American” reciter’s timed reading of Max Ehrman’s proselytising text about leading a responsible life. This text was written in the 1920s but, after it was found in a Baltimore church, it was assumed to have dated from the time of the Pilgrim Fathers.
